Document version 2026-09-27 · Published September 27, 2026 · Effective October 1, 2026
This policy applies to payments and renewals made on or after October 1, 2026. Payments completed earlier keep the policy in force at the time of payment; it is not applied retroactively to the 2026-07-16 version. The previous policy is available at Refund and Subscription Cancellation (July 16, 2026).
After its effective date is announced, this proposal is intended to apply to agreements newly paid or renewed on or after that date. Payments completed earlier remain governed by the policy in effect at payment.
Key Information
Statutory withdrawal from a purchase and an ordinary early-termination refund are separate. If the law is more favorable to the consumer, the law applies.
If only recurring payment is stopped, service remains available through the current paid period. Amounts already paid are not automatically refunded.
An ordinary early-termination refund is prorated for the remaining service period using the amount actually paid. No separate 10% penalty is charged against the remaining amount.
A refund is issued when its requirements are met. Operator review identifies the payment and entitlement; it is not discretion to refuse an otherwise qualifying refund.
Article 1. Scope
- This Policy applies to monthly and annual subscriptions for Lite, Pro, and Max purchased through the payment method on the Company website. Prices and included features are shown on Plans and Pricing.
- The Company does not sell separate credit or usage products outside subscriptions.
- The Company does not currently sell through app marketplaces or other sellers.
Article 2. Use of Paid Features
- A paid entitlement is available for the paid period once payment is approved and the applicable plan is applied to the account.
- Use of a paid feature means that the User ran a feature available only under the purchased plan and its processing completed successfully.
- None of the following alone is treated as use of a paid feature:
- logging in;
- viewing a dashboard, notice, or settings screen;
- a failed or canceled request;
- background processing run without an explicit action by the User; or
- storage, upload, or synchronization also available on the Free plan.
Article 3. Statutory Withdrawal from a Purchase
- This Article applies separately from an ordinary early-termination refund under Articles 5 and 6.
- Under Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc., a User may withdraw within the following period:
- seven days after receiving a written or electronic document describing the agreement;
- if supply begins later than receipt of that document, seven days after receiving the supply or after supply begins;
- if no document was received, or legally required information such as the address was absent and prevented withdrawal during the ordinary period, seven days after the User learned or could have learned the Company’s address; or
- if a legally prohibited act interfered with withdrawal, seven days after that interference ended.
- A restriction under Article 17(2) of that Act, including when delivery of a digital service has begun, applies only when the Company clearly displayed that withdrawal would be restricted and, for digital content, provided the trial-use method prescribed by the Enforcement Decree. A paid-feature usage record alone does not automatically defeat withdrawal.
- The right to withdraw from any unprovided portion of a divisible service remains available.
- If the Service was provided differently from its displayed, advertised, or contractual description, withdrawal or termination may be requested within three months after supply and within 30 days after the User learned or could have learned of the difference.
- No penalty or damages charge is imposed for statutory withdrawal.
- This Policy does not add terms less favorable than rights guaranteed by law.
- When statutory withdrawal is recognized, the refund is not reduced using the early-termination calculation in Article 6. The entitlement under the withdrawn agreement ends according to the effect of withdrawal. Entitlements under other valid payments remain.
Article 4. Stopping Recurring Payment
- A User may stop recurring payment through Billing Management or Customer Support.
- If only recurring payment is stopped, charges stop beginning with the next payment.
- The User may continue using the plan through the already paid period, and that payment is not refunded.
- When the service period ends, the account moves to the Free plan.
- If a stop request arrived before the next payment but a charge occurred because Company processing was late, that charge is canceled in full and later recurring payments are stopped. The entitlement for the immediately preceding paid period remains.
Article 5. Ordinary Early-Termination Refund
- Subscription cancellation alone does not refund an amount already paid. A refund for the remaining period is handled through a separate request under this Article.
- For both monthly and annual subscriptions, the refund is prorated for the remaining service period using the amount actually paid. This is the Company’s policy for this Service and is not represented as a formula uniformly required by law for every subscription.
- An annual subscription purchased at a discount is not recalculated at the ordinary monthly price merely because it is terminated early.
- The calculation uses the amount actually paid after VAT, discounts, and coupons.
- No separate penalty equal to 10% of the remaining amount is imposed.
- When early termination and the remaining-period refund are finalized, the entitlement granted by that payment ends at the effective termination time under Article 6 and the next recurring payment is stopped.
Article 6. Refund Calculation
The same formula applies to monthly and annual subscriptions.
Refund = amount actually paid × remaining service period ÷ total paid period
- Time is measured in Korea Standard Time (Asia/Seoul). The total paid period runs from the start time through the end time of the entitlement granted by that payment. A monthly period ends at the same time on the corresponding date of the next month, or at that time on the last day if the next month has no corresponding date. An annual period ends 12 months later using the same method.
- The effective termination time is when the refund request reaches Customer Support. Time spent by the Company reviewing the request is not added to the used period.
- The remaining service period runs from the effective termination time to the service end time. No additional full day is deducted merely because the request was made that day. If the effective termination time is after the service end time or no period remains, the refund is KRW 0.
- Fractions below KRW 1 are rounded up to the nearest won so the calculation does not disadvantage the User.
- If the same payment has already been partially refunded or canceled, the refund does not exceed that payment’s unrefunded balance.
- If the calculated refund is below KRW 0, it is set to KRW 0 and no additional amount is charged.
- After accounting for the amount corresponding to the subscription period, the Company does not deduct another fee for use of features included in that subscription.
Article 7. Entitlement After a Refund
- Recurring payment stopped only: the User retains access through the current paid period, and that payment is not refunded.
- Early termination with a remaining-period refund: the applicable entitlement ends at the effective termination time, and the next recurring payment is stopped.
- Duplicate payment: only the duplicate charge is canceled. The entitlement under the valid payment remains.
- Difference caused by a payment error: only the amount charged in error is refunded. The validly purchased subscription remains unless the error invalidates the subscription itself.
- Statutory withdrawal: the entitlement follows the legal effect of withdrawal from that agreement. Other valid subscriptions do not end with it.
- A full refund of one payment does not terminate an entitlement under an unrelated valid subscription.
Article 8. Failures and Reasons Attributable to the Company
- A refund is issued to the applicable extent for any of the following:
- a duplicate charge for the same product, for the duplicate amount;
- an amount charged in error by the Company or payment system;
- an amount corresponding to a period in which the paid service was not provided; or
- an amount meeting the statutory-withdrawal requirements in Article 3.
- Damages and refunds for failure to provide a paid service for a reason attributable to the Company are legal obligations, not discretionary benefits.
- An extension of the service period does not replace a statutory right to a refund or damages.
- Natural disaster, failure of a telecommunications carrier, or a problem with the User’s device or network that is difficult for the Company to control reasonably is assessed under applicable law and the specific circumstances.
Article 9. Amounts Deducted from a Refund
For an ordinary early-termination refund, the calculation is limited to the following items:
- the amount corresponding to the service period already elapsed, as reflected in the remaining-period calculation under Article 6; and
- an amount already refunded or canceled from the same payment.
No additional usage fee is deducted merely because a feature included in the subscription was used. The Company does not deduct alleged damages or fraudulent-use amounts solely on its own determination. Damages are handled through a separate lawful procedure.
Article 10. Processing Time
- As a rule, a refund is issued to the payment method originally used.
- Repayment following statutory withdrawal is made within three business days from the starting date specified by Article 18 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. For a digital service, that period begins on the day the User withdraws.
- For an ordinary early-termination refund, the Company executes payment cancellation or repayment of the refund amount within three business days after the request arrives. Merely recording an amount or receiving a request does not complete repayment. Posting to a card or bank statement is the next stage. If the law sets a shorter period or late-payment damages, that law applies. This three-business-day standard does not assert that Article 18 of that Act directly applies to every early termination.
- Starting an internal review or leaving an approval memo alone does not complete repayment. The Company must request cancellation or a stop to collection from the payment provider or card issuer within the period.
- After the Company sends a timely request, the schedule for reversing a card authorization or posting to an account is set by the card issuer, bank, or payment provider. If the Company’s request exceeds the statutory period, late-payment damages under Article 21-3 of the Enforcement Decree of that Act (currently 15% per year) apply.
- If a refund to the original payment method is difficult, another method may be used after consulting with the User.
Article 11. Submission
Refunds are not automatically processed by the payment system. Submit a request through a method below. The Company verifies the payment and entitlement, then processes the request under this Policy.
Send minimum information such as an email address that identifies the account, together with any known payment date, payment amount, or order number that can locate the payment. A request is not denied merely because the User does not know the order number or lacks some information. If information needed for verification is missing, the Company requests supplementation without delay.
No detailed reason is required for a statutory withdrawal based on a simple change of mind.
Do not send a full card number, password, or payment-authentication information.
Article 12. Price Changes and Conversion to Paid Service
- Before increasing a recurring-payment amount or converting free use to a paid recurring payment, the Company must obtain the User’s express consent within the 30 days before the change applies. The Company also states the change, amount, effective date, and that payment will not proceed if consent is declined.
- A notice alone, or blanket consent given at initial sign-up, does not replace that consent.
- If the User does not consent, the increased charge or newly paid charge does not proceed.
Article 13. Changes to This Policy
The Company may amend this Policy to reflect changes in law, the payment structure, or the Service. It gives advance notice of the effective date and details of a change unfavorable to Users. A payment completed before a change is governed by the policy in effect at payment.
Matters not addressed here are governed by the Terms of Service and the laws of the Republic of Korea.
